Anyone know a place in Dubai selling genuine Amaron batteries? Need one today (68 อ่าน)

So my car wouldn't start this morning in the middle of the Marina parking lot – just a clicking sound and then nothing. Jump started it from a neighbor, but the battery is clearly on its way out. I've been burned before with fake or refurbished batteries from random shops in Al Quoz that looked fine but died within six months. I really don't want to go through that again, so I'm trying to find a Dubai Original Amaron Car Battery Shop that sells the real deal with proper warranty and doesn't try to pass off old stock as new. I saw a website listing some dealers but I'd rather hear from someone who's actually bought one recently – which area did you go to, and how much did you pay for a 55Ah or 70Ah? Need to get this sorted before tomorrow's commute. Any tips on what to check on the battery itself to make sure it's genuine would also help. Cheers.

Clicking sound followed by nothing is classic dead battery behavior, not an alternator or starter issue, so you're already diagnosing this correctly. Good news is it's a straightforward fix once you find a genuine dealer.

Check the manufacturing date code on the top of the battery before paying, it's usually a letter and number combo indicating month and year. Any legitimate dealer will help you read it without hesitation if asked directly.

55Ah versus 70Ah depends on your car's actual electrical load, so confirm with the dealer which spec matches your original battery rather than just going by price. Undersizing it can cause the same starting issues to return sooner.

Refurbished batteries passed off as new is unfortunately common with certain Al Quoz sellers. Ask specifically if the battery has ever been opened or serviced before, a genuine new unit should have an untouched factory seal.

Same day replacement should not be a problem at any properly stocked dealer in Dubai. Call ahead with your car model to confirm they have the right Ah rating in stock before driving over, saves you a wasted trip during an already stressful day.
