Great overview of learning styles. One thing I've noticed is that curriculum design itself plays a huge role — when a curriculum is overloaded with competencies, teachers end up rushing and can't adapt to visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learners at all. The Philippines' recent reform is a good example: the DepEd MATATAG curriculum cut down learning competencies significantly so teachers actually have time to differentiate instruction. Would be interesting to see more research on how decongested curricula affect outcomes for different learner types.
