Rolls-Royce gearbox leaking fluid, can a workshop in Al Qusais handle it? (6 อ่าน)

Last Thursday I found a reddish patch on my garage floor in Dubai, right under the front of my Rolls-Royce Wraith, and I felt my stomach drop. The car has about forty five thousand kilometres, and it has been shifting a little slowly for a week, especially when I pull away from a stop. I work near Al Qusais Industrial Area 5, so I drive across the Sharjah and Dubai border most days, and the car sits in the sun often. The dealer told me it might be a seal and gave me a big number just to open the gearbox. My brother says a good independent shop can do the same job for far less. A friend says a car like this needs a place that knows the automatic gearbox well, because one wrong move can ruin a very costly part. I looked online for an Expert Rolls-Royce gearbox workshop in Al Qusais Industrial Area 5 , but every page said the same thing, so I still do not know what a proper check looks like. Does a good shop find the leak first, by cleaning the area and using dye? Should they check the fluid level and colour before they talk about a rebuild? Can a small seal be changed without taking the whole gearbox out? Is it safe to drive a few days if I check the level each morning? Is it normal to get a written quote and a printed report? How long does a check take, and what should it cost? If your Rolls-Royce or a similar luxury car had the same leak, please tell me what the cause was, what you paid, and what you would do differently. Easy answers help me most.
