Best Tool for Volume Shader Benchmark? (1135 อ่าน)

12 ส.ค. 2568 08:59

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an accurate volume shader benchmark to test my GPU’s ability to handle complex rendering tasks. I came across Volume Shader BM and it looks promising, but I’d love to hear from those who’ve actually used it.

Does it simulate real-world gaming and 3D design workloads effectively? How detailed are the results compared to other benchmarking suites?

Thanks in advance

For volume shader benchmarking, I'd prefer a test that reflects real rendering rather than relying only on synthetic shader loops. I found Cinebench's GPU test useful in this context, since it uses the Redshift engine for a production-style 3D render. This guide explains the process: https://thecinebench.com/how-to-do-a-cinebench-gpu-test/ and how to interpret the resulting score.
