U4GM How do you survive Balbala in POE 2 (32 อ่าน)

Balbala in Act 2 is the point where you realise your “pretty good” campaign setup isn’t actually ready for a tight boss room, and it can feel brutal if you walk in undergeared. Even if your damage is fine, the fight asks for control: quick reads, clean movement, and just enough prep to not get melted. If you’ve been dumping scraps into upgrades, you’ll notice it here, and grabbing a small boost through PoE 2 Currency can be the difference between “one more try” and finally getting a clean kill.

The Arena Is the Real Enemy

The room is tiny and that pit in the middle messes with everything. Your pathing, your camera, your panic rolls. You can’t just do the classic “run circles and chill” thing, because the pit breaks your loop and steals line of sight at the worst moments. Try moving in a wide oval along the outer wall, then cut in only when you’ve actually seen what she’s doing. If you get shoved into a corner, don’t argue with it. Burn your movement skill early, reset your position, and take the hit to your pride instead of your HP bar.

Handling the Gas Without Losing Your Head

The poison fog phase is where most runs fall apart. She drops out, the whole room turns green, and your health starts ticking down hard. People sprint around like they’re on fire, and that’s usually the mistake. Stay calm and hug the edges. Look for her shape in the haze, and once you’ve got her, commit in and stop the phase fast. Then instantly be ready to dodge, because the follow-up blast is what clips you when you think you’ve “solved” it. If your poison resistance is negative, don’t stubborn it out. Swap a ring, change a charm, anything.

Coins, Shades, and Using Them for Your Advantage

When the coins and shade copies show up, it’s easy to treat it like extra chaos you need to avoid. But you can flip that mindset. Shades are a chance to refill flasks, and that matters because this fight doesn’t give you comfy downtime. The trick is not spawning everything at once. Trigger one, delete it quickly, breathe, then go back to tracking Balbala. If your build’s single-target is good but you’re running dry on charges, farming a shade on purpose can keep the attempt alive.

Small Prep, Big Payoff

Don’t walk in as a pure glass cannon and expect it to feel fair. Put a real life flask on your belt, roll it if you have to, and make sure your movement skill isn’t clunky or on an awkward key. Drop a bit of DPS for survival and you’ll usually get the kill faster anyway, because you’re not restarting every two minutes. Once she’s down, the game opens up in a big way, and that post-fight power spike feels even better when you earned it, not when you brute-forced it with poe 2 currencies and a lucky crit chain.
