Trying to figure out where to even start with our messy warehouse flow (4 อ่าน)

I'll be honest, I've been putting off dealing with our warehouse situation in Ajman because it feels like such a massive project that I don't even know where to begin. We've grown a lot over the past two years and the way we handle things now is basically the same system we used when we were doing a fraction of the volume, just with more people crammed into the same space trying to make it work. I spend so much of my day putting out little fires—someone can't find a product, an order got packed with the wrong items because things were stored in the wrong zone, the receiving area is blocked by outgoing pallets that haven't moved yet. I've been trying to find out how to enhance workflows in facilities without having to shut down for a week or spend money we don't have, because I know there are smarter ways to do this but I need a roadmap that makes sense for where we're at right now. I came across an article about modular approaches to improving warehouse flow and it gave me some hope that maybe we can tackle this piece by piece instead of trying to fix everything at once. For anyone who's been in this situation, did you start with layout changes, better storage systems, or something else? I just need to pick one thing and actually make it better instead of continuing to feel overwhelmed by the whole mess.
