I'm hoping to get some ideas from people who have organized a farewell for a coworker. Someone on our team is leaving after many years, and we'd like to do something that feels personal instead of giving a standard goodbye speech.

We're thinking about creating funny goodbye cards because our office has plenty of shared memories and inside jokes. At the same time, we don't want the humor to overshadow the appreciation we have for everything this person has done. Finding the right balance has been more difficult than I expected.

Another challenge is that part of our team works remotely, so we're looking at farewell cards for coworkers that everyone can sign from different locations.
