Protecting a Greenhouse’s Glass Roof from Summer Heat (13 อ่าน)

22 ส.ค. 2569 23:04

We built a small winter greenhouse with panoramic glazing on the roof of our house, but in the summer, the plants literally burn under direct sunlight. We want to find a way to protect the glass, but we are worried about creating excessive shading, since the flowers need soft light. Could you recommend which specialized products best reflect infrared heat without creating a dense shadow? We are also interested in what durability specifications we should look for in sloped glazing?

For greenhouses, athermal sun-protective films are best suited, as they block out the heat but allow the spectrum of light necessary for plants to pass through. The key is to choose options with a durable protective layer that resists fading. You can find high-quality materials through a trusted window film supplier that provides detailed specifications on heat reflection and long-term warranties. This will help maintain an optimal microclimate without overheating. And what kinds of plants do you have growing there?
